a bit too cartoony then I would have liked, but oh well!
usually, for detailed art I draw on my black sketchbook paper- that way I can use all color pencils, no lines or inking and that usually is my best work. Here, I am on white paper of course. I can't draw on white with out pencil then ink and this just takes away from the realism with how I do it but luckily for more detail I used color pencils and powdered chalk on top of the copic markers.

took about 3 and a half hours in one sitting. no references.

are you thinking: "What am I looking at?"
answer: I drew Link from the Legend of Zelda struggling with his inner darkness aka dark link. I used black splotches over him to show Dark Link from within the darkness, trying to take over or come out.
look closely at all the details! zoom in!

oh, and I got a new camera and I am really having a hard time taking proper pictures of my art with this one, If I can get a better shot, I will upload it!
