Here is #12
I am sooo tired of drawing bricks! xD ohmygoodness. I slapped these bricks together--I was so not feeling it xD I might do just a portrait of Cat for tomorrow to practice posing and details But I also have some cool ideas for more exaggerated lighting and darkness since this ink is way too cool

I tried a little bit of a different outfit of Cat's. It always has to have ribbons and be frilly!

Supplies:
Brea Reese Alcohol Ink-- Mars Black
Faber Castell 6 Pitt Artist Pens: Shades of Grey
Faber Castell Pitt Artist Pen: XS
Gelly Roll 05 (white pen)
Kneaded Eraser
Paintbrushes for ink

As a side note, my favorite inking pens are the incredible Staedtler pigment liner pens. I bought a pack when I was in Brussels, Belgium and they are literally smear-free when I ink first and draw over with Copic markers. Faber Castell works, but it smears sometimes with the lighter color copics drawing over it and it smears or bleeds a little green/brown when you are trying to blend. (All these pens are almost dead, so I need to find some more!)

I'm super behind on answering comments and all that right now, I also couldn't get to the weekly journal over the weekend--I'll get right to all that tonight!
