Ah, my morning indulgence. Every morning--it started with just one!--I would walk to the bakery for a fresh item and then go sit somewhere in the quiet city. Warsaw was not a place I could call a sleepy city. While it was in many ways with the empty roads and incredibly early morning sunrise, shopkeepers were always up first sweeping their front steps, bakeries were alive, and the parks had locals walking their dogs. In the modern section of the city construction workers and craftsmen begin carving into building frescos and working a new as early as 6 AM or more. The sun would be bright between 5 to 6 am and even earlier most days and I naturally rose up with it. I was a different experience, and I loved it very much.
