Not much stood between this and what actually happened. If "Fiwes" survived, he can speak more about control chips Palpatine ordered to install to each clone. Also if Jedi order listened more to speech of Barris Offee when she was arrested, they should be able to uncower Palpatine's disguise and plan sooner. Even Zillo beast pick him as target for some reasons, there are theories that creation was more intelligent and was able to sense Palpatines dark power in him, also there is probability the only reason the Palpatine tried to escape from Zillo rather than help fight it was fact, that he must fight it with his power unleashed which, of course will reveal him as a Sith lord.
One man was originator of ewerything from forming of Confederacy to creation of Clone army , even killed his master - Darth Plageuis (some evidences says it was Darth Plageuis, who manipulated midichlorians to bring life into Shmi Skywalker - this can be possible explanation to question, why Shmi claimed that her son was conceived without a father, but could not explain how that had happened) to make his plan running. All events and sides he manipulated into galaxy scale conflict.
But, I mentioned Barris Offee (some of you maybe remember her as Luminara Unduli's padawan or thanks to her little relationship with Ashoka Tano) and her speech when she was arrested after bombing the jedi temple, she said the Jedi were those who started the war and the republic will fall , it's a matter of time. Doctrines and thinking of jedi order may result sooner or later in another conflict between them and republic or splitting order to two sides fighting each other. Through history of Star Wars was Jedi order repetitively separated from Old republic and after time again reunited, it wasn't allways light vs. dark. So even without Palpatine and his master plan, there can be probably started another conflict sooner or later.

I don't think there are beaches on Tatooine.More endless dune seas, canyons, maybe there can be an oasis, locations of Tatooine were taken mostly in Tunisia - that means deserts. Tatooine is like Arrakis from Dune or Kharak from Homeworld, planet, which practically hawe not any surface water. Beaches are more suitable for example for Scarif (Maldives

It's Tatooine Homestead and by my opinion the stronghold with best wiev in SWTOR,It's also built partially into cliff and into the ground, on horizon can be seen Jawa Sandcrawler slowly passing by, hot air balloon flying and iconic Binary sunset :3

The atmosphere of that Homestead is calm.
Strongholds in Star wars the Old Republic are not so crucial, but it's nice to hawe home there (If you hawe enough galactic credits to purchase it and unlock all rooms) ,you can customize it, add furniture, lights, decorations and tools like mailbox, legacy storage, galactic trade market kiosk and item modification station which is wery usefull when you are going to customize your characters little more - as you can see on my Togruta Jedi sentinel there.
There is also stronghold to buy on Manaan (this planet is cowered by oceans and appeared also in KOTOR and is inhabitated by native aquatic race called Selkath - stronghold there looks like hi-tec laboratory), Pirate base on Rishii,Skyscrapper apartments on Dromund Kaas and Coruscant, Ancient temple on Yavin IV,floating Sky pallace on Nar Shadaa and there was also mobile fortress on Umbara.
