Description
Outside of the South Korean Foreign Ministry building (far outside of it, its at a distance, a different area really haha) is a great plaza with a statue of Sejong the Great, a celebrated Korean ruler who invented the Korean alphabet: Hangul. It was a huge statue and I saw a bird on top of him so I was entertained. So, here we are in the middle of the huge city and pay attention to the beautiful mountain in the background.ΒA few times when I went by this area, it was cool because you could see people gathering for large speeches or rallies. What was interesting to me was how everyone who came to participate or listen to the speech/ rally was sitting cross-legged on the ground. I loved this, seeing everyone sitting, they were perfectly listening. When people stand, I believe there is the possibility of a mob mentality, it seems more unruly or that is a possibility. But sitting, it all seemed more respectful.Β

yeah! It actually is pretty simple because everything is based on the shape your mouth and tongue makes when saying the sound. The symbol "γ±" is "k" or "g" which are very close to each other. When you make a K or "guh" sound, your tongue mimics that shape--it's really cool!Β

Kinda,
I want to learn a new language,
and I know it should be German French because I may go their one day.
(Plus my father knows some German.)
But I just love the way the Russian looks!
Thought it's a hard language. And I don't really want to go to Russia.
But other places use the language.

It does look cool! It is fun to learn something with different letters of writing, I feel so accomplished when I can write something new.Β
Yeah, if you are not planning on going I wouldn't recommend it The best thing about learning a whole new language is the full immersion into it whether that is listening to the music, watching tv shows/ movies, reading or traveling with that language. It's an incredible experience!Β

Yeah,
If I learned french I could read Jacques Tardi's works.
But I'd rather go to Germany (My dad has been their too. Plus I have a half sister that was born their.)
Thought I can think of more to do in France then Germany.

Yeah.
I don't know which one I should learn.
I'll probably go to Germany, but I bet I'll use French a lot more.

I know of the naval commander from the Japanese invasion of Korea during the 1590's. An intresting time (and horrifing time) to be living in Korea.Β
