So, i just realised that today is Spirit Day. Many hundreds of people commit suicide each year because of the bullying they face from their peers. The issue is largely pushed under the rug. I know many bisexual people.People get bullied for a lot of reasons many people commit suicide because of getting bullied. Sadly they see it as their only escape, they're wrong. Many people have survived being bullied.
Bullying over orientation is worse then normal bullying, due to the person already feeling alone and that no one understands.
It's horrible and writing this article has made me realise that there really isn't enough support out there for these people. Or for anyone who is getting bullied.
My own attempted suicide made me realise that i was loved by god and the people around me. But some people don't have the support network that faith gives me. I just hope that everyone gets the support they need and if they don't there are plenty of websites and communities out there to help them.

I understand exactly what you're saying. I've been going through this since I was eight and I find sanctuary here. And I think that another reason that bullied children commit suicide (or try to) is because they want somebody to see them. They want their screams that are so often ignored to be heard! That's why so many people cut themselves, because even if they lie about the scars, a little part of them feels better when people ask. It lets them know that somebody can hear.

Hmm... I can't say much about this. I was once suicidal myself but I wasn't hurt by bullying. How about cutting school hours? I've noticed that up north the school lasts one hour less than they do down south. (if that isn't good I'll think of another. Had a good one earlier but forgot it.)
