After saving you from that portal on Doomsday, your Doctor has become more and more protective. It was only yesterday, but you can tell. Although you haven't lost anything, everything comes at a cost and you feel as though something may become a mistake. Either way, you could feel that you are going to lose, whatever it is. You can't take the ache from a heartbreak though.

Oh, but as you walk away

Every time the Doctor steps out of ear-shot, you always whisper those three little words that you know you will never actually say to him and that he will never reciprocate.

Now I'm the "low" in "lonely"

You are leaning on the railing in the TARDIS whilst the Doctor paces.

He then stops in front of you.

"I am taking you home to London. It is decided."

Your face drops in sorrow.

"Doctor, why?"

He begins flipping switches and pressing buttons.

"Doctor!"

Tears form in the corners of your eyes and you attempt to blink them back but one slips and he notices.

"[Y/n]..." He faces you again, stepping closer and wiping the tear away.

You look up at him through glassy eyes.

"I just want you to be safe. I could not deal with myself is something ever happened to you..."

You nod, sniffling.

"Take me home."

If you could turn back time, you would. You would turn it back to before Doomsday and prevent the whole thing from happening. That way you could still travel through time and space with your Doctor forever and be safe.

The TARDIS lands in London on a corner near your house.

You and the Doctor step out.

You turn around, facing him, as you notice that his hands are trembling slightly.

"Doctor, what's wro-"

The Doctor cuts you off by pulling you close and pressing his surprisingly soft lips to yours. Mesmerized, you kiss him back.

Pulling back...

"I love you." You say as he says, "I love you."

You both grin like idiots.

Pulling on his coat, you kiss him again.

"Promise me you will visit me." You whisper against his lips.

"I promise." He whispers back, kissing you one last time before stepping back into the TARDIS and disappearing.

EXTENDED ENDING

You are writing in your diary when a particular sound whirls outside. You quickly rise, running to your window where you spot the familiar blue box.

You giggle and run downstairs and out the front door just as your Doctor steps out of the TARDIS and leans against her door. You run into his awaiting arms, holding him tight.

"I missed you so much." You sigh happily into his chest.

"I missed you too." He mumbles back.

It has been a month since you last saw him, but you always knew he would come back to you.

He pulls back a little and kisses you passionately, his tongue begging for entrance, your tongue allowing it.

Eventually, you break apart.

"I love you so much, [y/n]." He kisses her softly then.

In between little kisses you say, "I love you too, my Doctor."
