Sharpies are a bad idea in that they are not fade resistant and turn an ugly brown.

I only really use the color sharpies and only really use those to shade. Have not had the browning issue yet on some of my older stuff. I was warned that black was the bad one. So I don't use those.

This tutorials are really helping me. I'm waiting for the 4ΒΊ video/tutorial and i'd love to see a making of a sketch card
