Description Did a photo restoration job for a friend, the original was sun-faded, cracked, curled and had junk all over it. The result was amazing.

I can understand your astonishment, I was equally impressed.

The hard part was eliminating all the cracks, scratches and grime that came through in the two scans that I stitched together. The auto-healing brush, the clone stamp tool, and a few hours of careful strokes took care of that. Apparently all the color variance was still present in the original, just faded. Some global color balancing, a global boost to saturation and brightness, and the photo looked much better.
