that add to the story of K.P. StD. I think the colors rock, esp. Kim's eyes. I dunno art, but I know what I like.
She lost her gallery to technical difficulties and promises to restore it--but until she does, let this suffice to show the extent of her talent. All the best to her, her fam, her cat(s), & last but not least, the bunny.
BTW, she is the inspiration for my story of Slim Possible's wife, "The Other Mrs. Possible".

Hmm...maybe it's safe to re-post my rendition of Ivy's "Passion" and "Passion 2?" I've had them down since several KP artists' galleries were purged about a year ago (for being too risque)--and I wasn't taking any chances. Heck, I'm coming across KP fanart now on dA that go way beyond the ones that were censored, so it seems someone has ended their crusade.
Anyway, this is excellent work, regardless of who was behind it.

poor Jup-Mod--who in my opinion had a most excellent gallery of screenshot montages--suffered a scorched-earth deletion of the entire lot. As I understand the rules, any submitted work must not be based of another artist's work. Since much of what I have submitted is a tribute to Lionheartcartoon, Ivymae, etc. I suppose I could be in the crosshairs just as easily.
I recall the two works to which you refer. I thought they were good.
The whole deletion issue is fraught with peril. On the one side the artists are justly angry and indignant for losing what they have spent much time creating for the sheer viewing pleasure of fellow artists. On the other hand, the owners of dA do have a right to decide what the content will be--and in this day and age of conflicting standards, it's impossible (pun not intended) to cater to everyone. Who knows what kind of damage some offended soul could wreak? The twin peril of the Disney legal juggernaut and the F.C.C.? Far-fetched? Maybe, but I'm sure the dA owners are a lot more cognizant of the pitfalls of their profession than I am
I know what you mean about extreme fanart. I've seen some S & M, some stuff that is so vile--I came across a thing a few months ago--and I'm never going to refer to it again--a fusion of K.P. and Jason Voorhies (Y'know--Friday 13 movies--the guy in the hockey mask) It was a crude drawing. The guy who submitted it said in his explanation that his girlfriend was offended by the K.P. show--that K.P. deserved to meet a grisly death. maybe you can guess the content of the picture. A certain redhead suffering a Marie Anntoinette--Ann Bolyne fate. (you get my drift?--I'n not going to be anymore graphic than that--not on a public venue). It was gruesome. It was the kind of thing that should be reported. Did I? No. I wimped out. Why. Becuase people can be ***holes. Because some injured party could launch a vendetta against my stuff. There. I'm a coward. And I've said my piece.

Yeah, I agree there has to be a line drawn somewhere. Even so, Ivy was devastated by what happened--it's worthwhile to (re-)read her dA journals, along with the comments, of last July 10 and August 24. She's never been the same since then. In fact, I doubt we'll ever see a Kim Possible drawing in her gallery again.
