Description

One of my artist friends suggested I watch live videos and use those to better capture poses rather than still images as there is far less staged poses in a video, genuine movement. With that advice in mind, I watched a BJJ video of a man and woman grappling. Then, I chose a frame that captured the energy of the scene and used it as the basis for what you see here.
There was a bit of tweaking done. I changed up the camera angle and altered the pose slightly to add more energy to it. Also tweaked the color palettes of the two fighters to make it more readable. Overall, I think I captured the essence of the original pretty well while adding my own flare to it. Hope you like it!
