a random stop....whenever i bump into blood and gore on dA (or anywhere), i just scratch my head and ask "why?" i simply don't understand the attraction, yet it is obviously appealing to many based upon page views. certainly someone can look at just about anyone's art and ask "why" but when it comes to intentionally disturbing blood/suicide/murder/etc....i....just....don't....get....it...... regardless, i hope you find whatever it is you're looking for therein.

Although I ultimately desinged the shot, the concept and desire to do a series with blood was the brain child of the model, I like you do not see the attraction, but as you said many do. So if I am asked again to do the same I would. If it is what the Model desires, I will find a way to make it happen if it oes not result in anyone getting seriously hurt in anyway.

I like the idea. But it looks rather messy from her shoulder downwards. Maybe you could work with having it look dark yet clean. You could avoid having too much blood on her chest but rather a few small streams. Or if she's deeper into the blood where she doesn't look too exposed or messy. And pale skin in contrast to the blood would be nice. I'm sorry, I hope I'm not being too critical.

Actually that is my problem with the shoot. Amanda smeared the blood around and water does not mix with blood well, just dilutes it to much. Hopefully will do again, and not have that mistake happen. And no you were not to critical, you saw what I saw, but the model and most viewers do seem to like the effect.. so I posted them to see what comments I would get, you are the only one to agree with me.. So I guess we are right and they are just......

Actually I totally agree with you, but the Model rubbed the water and blood around. Had I known I would have been very explicit in my pre shoot talk with her about what not to do, Hopefully I will get to shoot more of these with her and I will do just as you said lines of blood leading to the water and the skin clean white except those streams of blood, thanks for your comments you are the first person to see what I see... good work

I was browsing randomly and i fell apon this and was amazed by it. the contrast of colors is so beautiful. the white bathtub and the red blood, your (very beautiful) black hair and the white tub, and the red blood and your (also very beautiful) white skin. i only hope that i may be able to make something that beautiful.
