Gonna make a comic of his backstory sooner or later ) But for now- Here's the lore sumed up:

Him and his friend were both attacked, an attempted assassination. Tenmei made it out alive barely because he's a non-human, but his friend wasn't so lucky. When Tenmei awoke, he was met his his friends lifeless body in front of him. A rush of guilt and sorrow ran through his body, Tenmei was slowly dying, he used all of his strength to get up and reach out to his friend. He sat there staring at his friend in disbelief. But a new feeling washed over him. Hunger. Tenmei stared at his friends corpse, trying not to give into the feeling of extreme hunger, but it was too much. He felt that if he didnt eat his friends body, he wouldn't live. In desperation to stay alive, Tenmei began to eat his friend. But he couldn't stop, slowly he gained his strength back. But his hunger wouldn't ever go away.
