It does, I think in part due to the red tinge of the character. I've always pictured daedric armor and weapons having a sort-of dark red - kinda like rotting flesh - color with crude but curved patterns. It's been a while since I played Oblivion so forgive me.

Nevertheless, the intricacy of the armor is incredible.

Have the played Skyrim? The Daedric Armor looks more like this. And Skyrim is also a must get. You can get the Legendary Edition that comes with all the DLCs.

I have not played Skyrim as I normally don't have that many PC games and partially because I didn't like how the leveling system worked in Oblivion. But if it's worth it, I'll look into it.

Yeah, the leveling system in Oblivion sucked, but the one in Skyrim is really good, suits every players need in my opinion. Also, there are no classes, and weapons and armor dont break or repair. Your character can do everything, unlike Oblivion where you character is restricted to classes and skill you create them with. You can use all magics and powers, equip all weapons and armor. You can even buy a house(DLC allows you to build one), get married, adopt kids(DLC).

Trust me, Oblivion was a great game, but Skyrim is as mind blowing as Grand Theft Auto, and it takes role playing to a whole new level.
