dallas stands still and thinks for a moment. “wellll, they don’t talk a lot, so it’s kinda hard to tell...” they say, “...but i think they’re one of those rad aliens! dude you know those cool star things that fell? they definitely came from one of those.” they gesture towards aaron, who is floating near a confused torz. “see? identical! my own alien friend.....rad...”

> Are your eyes alright? Did something happen? I-I can try to help if you wish.
signe immediately bristles at the question. jay quickly shakes his head to try and get him to ask anything else, but signe responds too quickly for it to matter. “s-shut up, freak,” she hisses, “nothing happened. and the last lyte i’d ask for help is a diseased monster like you.”
jay stands awkwardly off to one side and mouths a “sorry” before staring at his hooves.

> Hey, Key? I have seen you since the submergence! how are you holding up with the whole Waterbreather's Wrath thing?
key seems surprised that someone approached her, but offers an awkward smile upon seeing someone she somewhat recognizes. she fidgets at the question. “oh yeah uh,” she starts. a nervous laugh escapes her as her gaze subconsciously drifts to the bandages on her arms. “yeah. i’m doing fine.” she falls silent for a few before tugging at one of her sleeves. “anyways uh, how are you? doing, i mean. with the whole disease thing.” her eyes don’t leave the floor.

“it’s pretty cool so far! kinda weird being so tall...i still can’t reach the top shelf though!”
