Pretty much, it sucks to be short.Painted in Photoshop Elements, not much more to say. I like his face though. Now off to bigger and better things.

Well, I've changed my method since this picture. But I always sketch in Photoshop and then create a new layer for the real lineart using a 4 px brush. Afterwards I come back with the eraser tool and erase it further so it has a really minimal appearance. Check out *crazymonster 's gallery and look at her lineart. It's really similar, but you can see hers a bit better.

... I feel bad for the poor little guy.
Everything looks great, superb, exactly what I expect from you, cept... one thing bugs. It bugged me on The Watcher, too. Because the line weight of the branch is huge, it makes the branch look flat, 2D. I thing that if the line was thinner, or just a darker shade of the branch color, it wouldn't look so flat. Also, there are some highlights on the right side of the branch that don't look right... and perhaps an even darker value in the crook by his arm would help.
Now of course, it isn't really my place to critique you, because my art sucks, but it always seems easier to figure out how to make someone else's piece better than my own. Sorry if that bugs you. If it does, I can cut back.
Oh, and on The Eatcher, if you are going to look back for comparison, it was his tail in that one that bugged me.
But overall, I love the concept, detail, and shading, especially in the background. You must teach me your skill! ^_^

Doesn't bug me oooone bit. I appreciate it. Comments like "Cute!" and whatnot are nice, but I appreciate tips or comments with a little more meat. lol. So thank ya Gilly! Yeah, the tree has issues. I started off putting a lot of effort into it, then I just got lazy and tried to get it done. I can never get the lineart on things other than the subject of the picture to look right. And I have no idea why... Thanks again Gilly!

I loathe being short sometimes. I'm turning 17 in October, but people mistaken me for a 12 year old, or my best friend's younger sister. She's a year younger than me. She gets mistaken as the 17 year old. -___-
Oh well. If they still have to card me at clubs at age 30, I suppose it's a complement that I look so young.
And I call myself "space efficient".
