I really can't remember what inspired this except that I thought it would be a humorous view of Ed in a Poke-ball captured, and I had been playing with a tut on snow globes.The modified globe and Ed just kind of popped into my head

Totally unrelated to the picture (as I've already commented on it and was just reading through the comments), I noticed your quote. I have never read such a great truth as this -- thank goodness he doesn't have a 'stache in the manga -- meaning that 'stache isn't canon, but rather a twisted joke by the people who drew up FMAB!
Why did Royai get more love in the first series... I just... don't understand why they have to hate the fans like this!

I've read the manga, and I'm under the impression that Ed was being childish and drew that on his picture in the photo album.
What I really dislike is the "afterparty" short that takes place after Conqueror of Shambala in the first series. Roy pretty much outright states that he has a crush on Hawkeye, and she SHOOTS HIM DOWN. (Not literally, of course.) WE KNOW YOU LIKE HIM, RIZA. JUST ADMIT IT.

I certainly hope that was the case. Roy Mustang and a 'stashe = do not want. Which is pretty bad, since I'm one of the dozens (millions) that count him among my favorite characters (really is hard to pick one favorite...)
I loved the wrap party short (or whatever you want to call it) because it was basically blatantly being satirical about everything, including Riza shooting him down (thank goodness she didn't actually shoot him... bad enough Gluttony ate the directors/creators/whoever those random people were). All I'm saying is I think her side of the relationship is much more obvious, so she was trying to cover it up during the after party, ha ha. Roy was all for coming out, but Riza, you see, was secretly privy to the golden information: Brotherhood was coming... she couldn't let the secret out or she'd never hear the end of it for the entire second series she had to work with these people!
