Stunning! I used to live in Skagit Valley, WA and saw Bald Eagles all the time. Here in the mid-Willamette Valley of Oregon we don't see as many though, and I've not had any chances to get good shots of them down here! I love Bald Eagles- amazing birds!

I live on an island in the South Sound and they are everywhere! There are a few nesting Gold Eagle pairs here and can't wait to capture them as well

My Great-Aunt was one of the founders of Friday Harbor- the first nurse on the island! I've been to all the San Juan islands, and love it there. Sadly I've not been to any of them in about 15 years, but it's been on the 'to do' list to take a vacation up to Skagit Valley, and the San Juan islands again.
Oh and my Grandpa lived on Whidby, a famous artist there. One of these days I really need to go visit those places again
