i wanted to do some inking work, i did try and be different. the shading is all done with cross hatching, because I want to be slightly original. im hoping other people might see my style and think, "wow, maybe he could ink one of my drawings like this?"

the convo with oshi kinda went like this:

oshi: To practice inking, you should find some pencil work on dA and ask for permission and a high-res version to ink. (<-- always happy to help)
alex: You do pencils, right? (<-- too smart for his own good)
oshi: Yeah......okay, whaddya want me to draw?
alex: It's a collab! Don't make me out to be a whip-master!!....But, Phoenix or Storm are a couple of my favs (<-- drooling)
oshi: Okay...but I love whips !

in short. I really like pheonix, one of my favourite characters / story arc's ever invented. thanks heaps to oshi for doing this collab with me, and thanks to jemm for colouring it. ill post a link to the colours when they are done.
