Description
Raboot, which kinda just happened.
Anyway, my interest in Pokemon has been waning since the release of Sword and Shield. I don't think I have to explain much, but it's also just my own feelings about, say, the designs of the new Pokemon. Obviously, I like some of them, but even so, not intensely (Wooloo being the exception, of course). While I like the Scorbunny line, for instance, that's mostly because of the fact it's based on rabbits. I'm otherwise not big on the starters, compared to the 7th gen ones.
But, I do like some of the new Mons, like Boltund, the Indeedees, and even Frosmoth (yeah, a bug, that's uncommon).
Of course, you might be wondering, "hey, what about Hatterene? Everyone loves Hatterene!", and to that I'll just say, sort of. Yes, it's cute, but I just don't really care for the theme of it much (especially with those Pokedex entries in mind), and it's yet another Psychic/Fairy, which isn't bad, it's just starting to get recycled too much. Grimmsnarl, in my opinion, is a bit more interesting, mostly thanks to its (currently) exclusive Dark/Fairy typing, and it's kinda cool looking.
On a slightly different note, the thing I somewhat appreciated from the new games was the raid battles. Yes, there's the wild area and the camp thing, along with the usual PvP battles, the raid battles were useful, albeit repetitive. I got some Pokemon I would of otherwise not of bothered to acquire, thanks to the IVs/Hidden ability chance, version exclusives, or the G-max version of them (like Lapras, for example, as I like its G-max form).
That's where my optimism stops, though. I'm not sure if it's burn out, or if my mentality is changing, but this generation really got me to ask myself some old questions.
You might have been used to the frequent Pokemon-related uploads, but with all that I suggested in mind, I'm going to start spreading out a bit, though I will mention - some of the Pocket Waifus (like Yoko) that I've made will be redesigned into original ones, likely to fit in theworldwhereFenellaisfrom. I've already mentioned something along those lines in Fenella's description, but I'm just reconfirming. That doesn't mean I won't draw Pokemon anymore, just might be less frequent and/or in a lesser form, should I feel the desire to.
