Description
A staccato string of harsh, rapid-fire hisses exploded from around and above her, and the overwhelmed young tigress flinched and bumped off the wall at her back as she tried to dodge away from this latest in a string of far-too-rapid unpleasant surprises. This time, her overburdened senses, sheer shock, half-blindedness, and plain-old bad luck joined in a sinister conspiracy to betray her to the trap. Before she even realized what was happening, it already had: And TK felt something on the order of half-a-dozen flashing cords whip in like bolas and entangle her upper body in a steel-sure web...----------------------------

Man, this is almost as bad as "The Most Dangerous Game" I had to read freshmen year =0 Sonya must REALLY have something against TK in order to put her though such an ordeal

Hehe...yeah, it does all bear certain resemblances to that particular tale, doesn't it...?
(Think that one made an early impression on me as well... We read it in fourth grade when I was in school...loved it then, and still get a kick out of it now. But I sincerely hope this story isn't TOO derivative...though I guess it's pretty hard not to be with the whole "hunter-hunted" plot-base... 
And it certainly WOULD appear that Sonya has some really nasty axe to grind with our dear TK, wouldn't it? Here's hoping our brave heroine lasts long enough for us to find out what that is...

No, that she doesn't. She's heard a good bit about TK's reputation, so for all thaty she mocks her heroic "prey", Sonya doesn't think her weak or an easy target. Just doomed...

Heh, glad you liked that, brother. Have to figure that Sonya's out to push TK to her limits in every way she can...which means that not every trap around this place can be designed to injure her (or worse)... But somehow, in the end, I think this is going to be almost as bad. Just hope she can find some way to cut herself loose!
