Description
RekaPoint commission for of her Spirit Wolf Reka. She told me to make her a picture from the following paragraph:
"The meadow was silent, as it almost always has been. A deception of peace to wandering eyes; fenced by trees of old, old lines. Jade and yellow grasses reached up from the edges of a whispering river that split the clearing almost exactly in half. To the left side and a short walk from the bank rested a grouping of stiff gray rocks that for all the world, looked as if they were stacked in some sort of organized manner. Facing slightly angled away from the river, the mouth of the rocks formed what appeared to be a shallow cave that would go no farther back and a large top flat slab of rock that sat perpendicular atop the rest. However, this opening went in and down; crystals of lavender and cobalt hues hanging from the ceiling as the earth dipped and gave way. In the soft evening light, the mouth of the opening channeled the falling rays of sun and bounced them within; a ricochet of luminescence that in the dark of night paled from the moons touch. A second river flowed under here, its rippling over earthen patterns whispering like a faint wind-chime within. The farthest back wall was etched with glyphs and symbols, in the center of which was assembled a large dream-catcher-like item that appeared to be built of various small bones instead of wood. Bits of fur and natural jewels were attached by woven and aged blades of glass that had long since faded into a white-gold. Directly under this wall is where the second river vanished, but its heart was home within these walls. Petals of old roses and various feathers formed a rest that watched the mouth of the cave. This, was my home.
I rested on the upper most outer rock slab, gaze turned through the trees on the right side of the above ground river; toward where they began to thin as the ground rose, and rose to form the High Cliff that channeled the wind into my secluded clearing, breeze fresh and crisp from my Ancient friend; a massive Weeping Willow who sat since days began at it's upper most edge overlooking all below.
The day was fading as I forced breath from my muzzle in a heavy exhale, setting coppery muzzle upon white dipped forepaws, tails idly lingering off the edge to my left, like feathers in the breeze. Nothing seemed out of place. I was not being sought by anyone, no one was here. None had come for my council or advise, and I was and had been totally alone, and had felt it had been this way for some time. My only company had been the smaller animals whom wove beads, jems and feathers into my mane..."
I'm really happy with how this came out actually..... I hope you like it!
