Thanh (center), with his sisters Duyen (left) and Hop (right), back before they outgrew the fuzzy chick stage.
I couldn't find any pictures of long-tailed skua chicks, so I figured that the gryphlets were born white like Siamese kittens and gradually developed their markings as they aged. Hop inherited her mama's bird forelegs, while Thanh and Duyen got their paws from their papa.
