Ah, well, many ideas x'D
I love doing these, I take like, just a bit less then a hour to do them too!

Nice! I love the eyes, they look really cool. And nicely shaped 
But I think the chest plate thingos need to be shaded a bit more, mainly under them. Or differently shaped, or have more of them; because he's got his neck curved/bent, so unless the plates are flexible they need to still..'fit' into each other but also fit the curve. If that makes ANY sense at all. Cause I'm not really sure exactly what I'm talking about. o_o
One little thing I've noticed, is that the neck sort of dissapears under that bit of hair that hangs down. It doesnt match up to his head - but dont worry, I do that kind of thing alll the time
