Wanted to doodle, so I did a black mage and a chocobo. Not just ANY chocobo, but THE Bobby Corwen from Final Fantasy IX. Haha! That game was my all time favorite.Done in Photoshop CS4 with a Wacom Tablet. 1.5 hours.

This game took something as simple as hatching a chick and turned it into a heart-warming and wrenching moment all because of how fleeting and short the Black Mage's lives are. Simply Amazing.

Ah, yes, Bobby Corwen. I still recall how much care those Black Mages took of him, of their pride of having him in their stable. And then Eiko has to go and complain of how long the name is.
Adorable art style. It suits the joy radiating off this mage basking in the miracle of creation.

haha what an adorable scene! This was my fav game as well, and the fact that the black mages were hatching and taking care of a baby chocobo just made them all the more sweeter ^^
