I'm not sure what you mean with IR, but I'll assume infrared and thats a no. The auroras here can be huge, and given I've used a 30 sec exposure on this it is smudged out and appears much greater then it was. I'd like to try a lower exposure time, but my camera doesn't cut it at high ISOs. Hope this answers you question.

Well it took 30 seconds to capture it so its just smeared out a lot more then it really was. The lightshow was quite strong that night!

It was taken near a radio tower 20 min from here, south eastern Norway
