Description
One of the more recent educational episodes, the Nerd looks at the Atari Swordquest series, lamenting about the history and the 1983 $150,000 worth of treasures that vanished without a trace. A contest and the video game crash that caused its defeat, this is one of the very few episodes that the Nerd doesn't use the F-Bomb.OMG, the Nerd had the treasures all this time!
But in all seriousness, this was based on that overlay shot with the treasures on top of the Nerd. I especially like how the T-shirt turned out.Original concept art by Mike Matei @ Cinemassacre.com: [link]

Too bad this so called treasure hunt is all for nothing now that the treasures except for the medallion's baubles and the chalice have been melted down.

According to Michael Rideout (owner of the Chalice):
"They (treasures) did exist. All of the prizes were on display and well-guarded at the Fireworld contest. The Philosopher's Stone really took my breath away. All of the pictures showed it with the cover on but they had the cover off at the contest and the actual stone was this large chunk of white jade."
