I can't remember the first time i make base tutorial, it's like.. 7 years..? Lmao..

Once again, i use both MS Paint and Sai to make bases. Years ago i only use Windows XP MS Paint (which the bases kinda sucks in result tbh), then using Sai for easier layers, but stopped as i keep forgetting to complete them because i felt lazy when it saved as Sai files (multiple WIPs horror story in a nutshell).
If anyone noticed how different some bases i made looks, it because i switch between programs and tools to test things.

If anyone only uses Sai, the program has binary option in top left canvas, select the right side of "mode" and change it into "binary color". The line tool automatically change your lines into pixel, but it's not 100% friendly to pixels if you messed up something. I tried, honestly.

If you only use MS Paint, sadly i can't help much other than just theories. But you can find a lot of helpful tutorials from other base makers.

If you're new to making bases, take your time on the lines. I only spend about 5 minutes or less for one pony base, and 30 minutes for 6 ponies base, this because i've been making bases for a really long time.
