With the sole exception of Drawcia, the Soul bosses are not canon to the series.

I ain't lookin' at Sectonia since I'm avoiding spoilers, but it's obvious that she got a soul form since as of Canvas Curse, all Final Bosses got "Soul" forms. I find it odd how they're called souls, despite most of them not looking like spirits or ghosts or stuff like that, just only looking more menacingly.

indeed,the souls are actually the real final boss escence:for an example,drawcia's real form was a paint,and that's why her "soul" looks like a giant eye-paint ball

The descriptions for these guys are what make them most creepy. Except Drawcia because I find her to be a bit boring, just like the game she's from.

Actually, to be more precise, this is Sectonia Soul's second form, her first one being the flower form.
Now that I think about it, I haven't seen much fan-art of her flower soul form in Pixiv, And there is none of it in Deviantart... (the one popular fan-art doesn't count since it's a normal version of her flower form)
