Art trade with Waver92 ! He asked if I could draw his lovely mole-pixie, Dorothy~ Thanks for being super patient with me, sometimes it can take a while for me to work on art nowadays; at times I get distracted with personal projects, heh. I also ran into a bit of trouble with the file almost becoming corrupted, but luckily I had a program that can convert file types and I was able to convert the .psd to a .png and return working on it in GIMP. Other than that, I've been trying out some variations of styles/techniques in between drawing this, so hopefully the wait has some merit. ^ ^;Otherwise, I had a very nice time drawing her! It was fun deciding poses for a winged character.

Yeah, I always get a surge of panic whenever a W.I.P. suddenly doesn't want to open up for whatever reason. Though thankfully that only has happened about a handful of times, and normally I'm able to at least get some, if not most, of my progress back.
Thanks! I'm glad that I could do your Dorothy justice on her behavior. Funnily enough, some people have told me that my artwork looks like a mixture of Disney and anime, although it's the latter that I do like to use for influence in terms of coloring, expressions, and/or posing. But yeah, I think her being winged helps with the overall deception of grace and approachability. And those big "doe" eyes of hers~
No worries! Take as much time as you need. I tend to work slow myself, and I understand not wanting to rush. : 3

You're most welcome, and you did! Oh yes, that I can see as well. The soft shading is akin to many manga artist's official artwork. 
Oh! I was actually brimming with motivation today, and actually finished it up with some spit and polish.
