I really gotta stop making this sad pictures ;w;Ash is more broken than Kage, admittedly. He knows it too, that's why he tries to be so close and make sure she is happy. Kage was never really hit by his uncle while his best friend was whipped in the eye before everyone, causing some blindness to her cursed eye.
