Oh my god, I'm so sorry this took so long. I'm really really behind on art I owe. Things have just been horribly hectic and I have no inspiration to draw other people's characters anymore :/ But I forced myself to get this done. Only two more to go on my list after this ;;;;;;;Prize for

Ahww this must have to be the most kind expression which Daniel ever had on his face. He looks content enjoying the night time ! :]
What really caught my attention was the fact that you actually made his eyes glow slightly ! It's a surprise as I guess I only mentioned it in his description. I am happy to see that you made his eyes glow like they should c: ! And the way you drew his mane looks great as well ! I like the strands of fur which fall over his muzzle here :]
And for some reason I also like the way you drew his ears, again like I guess I only mentioned in the long.. looong description.. they're longer and more pointy than a regular wolve's ears. Again I am glad to see them drawn well ! C:
You know what.. this really made my day.. I understand that all the contest prizes are taking up a lot of time together with things in daily life. what about this being the last one for me. I don't want to torture you as you're pretty busy, and this one already is amazing :,3 ...

It's really nice that you appreciate it, and it was a challenge to draw as he's a very different character, I'm not usually challenged with things like dogs and wolves which are in my comfort zone, but I like the design of him and it not something which I usually do.Β
I'm glad I managed to capture the right few things about him, I was a bit worried it didn't really look like him when comparing this to the ref you gave. It had originally been a more vicious looking drawing but I gave up and started again, it was quite relaxing to draw, I felt like I hadn't done digital art in a bit, so it broke my inactive flow.Β
I think people don't always realize how much a kind appreciative comment can mean, because drawing pictures takes hours, and it's beginning to turn into the norm that when I draw either a commission, a trade or even a request for some people, they don't even take a minute to even say thanks, when I've spent sometimes 3-4 hours doing them a favor. So yeah xD I didn't mean this to be a rant, but I guess what I'm trying to say is it really means a lot that you like it, and that you said.Β

Oh I can relate to that ! It's painful when you spend hours on a drawing and it gets zero attention, and when spending only a few minutes on it sometimes people seem to notice... It can be devastating :[Β
I think challenges are good and you sure did a great job on drawing him ! I know that he can be a pain to draw (even for me, as his markings are quite complicated x3 ). Β The same goes for me with humans, I still try to hunt down that subject and pull myself out of my comfort zone as well (;Β
And no worries! you've done a great job on the drawings dear
