Point Commission for who wanted Shen and Viper from Kung Fu Panda being cute in the jungle. I have to admit I've actually never seen the movie so uhm, yeah o___o;; It was quite an interesting challenge, I don't draw snakes or Peacocks much (I have to admit, white peacocks are sexy ;D) I originally said I wouldn't be drawing him in his robes, but then I tried and it worked out okay so I kept them, kinda glad I did
I still really need to work on drawing clothes, not used to drawing them on animals at all o___o;;Drawing the Viper actually made me want to draw snakes more often, I want to practice them a bit more. Beware Harry Potter fans, there may be a Nagini to add to my Harry Potter Fanart collection xDDD *Must resist urge to draw evil snakes and return to Commissions >>.....*
Anyhow, I hope this is alright ^^ It was an interesting and different Commission- I enjoyed the change! My scanner has kind of broken, it took me over an hour and a half to finally get the image on my computer.....it is very annoying x____x;;; It will slow my Commission uploads down I'm afriad. No clue how to fix it ;;....

Oh that's cool :/ I have plenty of trolls bashing things I draw in commissions. It's a pet hate of mine, mainly because they should realise that if the picture states 'Commission' in the title they should realise that accusing me of what I've drawn is a bit stupid as I'm just drawing what I was commissioned to, but whatever XD I did see some of your arts of them, it's super pretty ^^ I should probably watch the movie or something this summer if I have the time, I saw the first one a while ago when it first came out XD;; <3

Oh trust me you drew Shen perfectly, I love it so much. Whenever you open for commission I have quite a lot of points I plan on spending on commissions
I say that because there are people I art traded with and when people bash the art, they shrug and say 'yeah I don't support it either but the person asked' At's are just like Commission the artist has a right to decline, which is why I'll never ask anything from those people ever again. It's a waste of time to work hard on something and just push it away like you don't want it, simply because you don't agree with the person you arttrade with. I never asked for supporters (they choose to like the pairing XD)
That's why I loved your explanation and how you handle it, very mature and honest.

Meh I see what you mean. I remember I was mega trolled for drawing somebody's Naruto OC as a wolf, to be honest you're very right. If I disagreed with what I was asked to draw I'd decline or ask to compromise, I'm very much for the whole 'Stick with your art business', it seems silly not to defend yourself to avoid conflict, it doesn't mean you have to have a mega troll war, but still xD.
To be honest, half the fandoms and fan pairings I'm asked to draw are from things I've never seen xD If the characters are cool and it's not too mature then I'm game for most things xD I don't see what the big deal is, it's similar to my comment in your journal. For me art is just another form of self-expression, it's very personal so it doesn;t matter what others think, the art is for the intended person and if it's alright for them it doesn;t matter how many unrelated hate comments it gets

I love reading your messages, very detailed an it makes me happy that you say how you feel. I go AT's for people all the time, I never decline them but I have ended up warming up to their characters ^U^ You are right about the art being a form of expression ^U^ I draw and not care what anyone thinks, I do think we have a lot in common which is why I feel comfortable speaking about art commissions and other topics, it just that you give off a vibe that I can be myself when responding to you ^U^

I couldn't agree more ^^! I'm already brainstorming styles and techniques I might try if I ever had to draw these two again, it was fun drawing something that wasn't an original character for once, too. Different creatures ftw
