Princess Plutonium Nyx is the youngest child of Twilight Sparkle, born from the combined magic of the princess and Lord Tirek. She is currently staying in a small undisclosed home with her parents, as their social status is questionable at best and a disaster at worst. Though, that hasn’t stopped her from exploring and learning about the world around her.

Occupation: Not working currently. She’s studying physics and the differences of energy distribution between species though (she puts off studying magic most of the time, but she dabbles here and there for Twilight’s sake.)
Talent: Manipulating the temperatures of living things around her. Raising temperatures takes a lot of mental thought from her, so if she’s distracted or busy, anyone around her will start to get colder.

Background & Personality:
- Pluto was born from the combined magic of Tirek and Twilight (think test tube baby). Unlike her older half-brother, she was very planned with both parents prepared for her arrival. She came to existence one winter morning and was adored from the very start.
- Her parents had grown closer in the years prior; during a reformation act of some of Equestria’s most powerful villains, Twilight was tasked with aiding Tirek. It went from enemies to friends to something a little more, and now they have a nerdy relationship about magic and the variations of it.

-Plutonium grew up in her mother’s home learning princesshood from a young age. Despite not being very gifted at it personality-wise, Pluto tried to appease her parents and commit to it. She just didn’t enjoy the social parts of it; talking to others is hard. Much like Twilight, she would rather stay inside and read.

- She was only nine when her half-brother, Halley Comet, committed his crimes against the crown prince Wishful. All she really remembers is a lot of arguing between Halley and her parents, and then one day him vanishing and her family moving (it was all a blur of time she blocked out). She doesn’t even really remember what her older brother looks like; he was never around, and when he was, he never really spent any time with her.

- After Halley’s breakdown, her parents had to leave their home in Canterlot to stay in a cottage in the Everfree Forest. While Twilight herself wasn’t convicted, her image in Equestria was tarnished with what her son had done. To protect her family and her duties, she moved into a small home away from the world. The only ones who know of Twilight and her family’s whereabouts are the rest of the Mane Six and Starlight.

-Pluto got her cutie mark about a year after what happened with her brother. She was exploring the Everfree Forest one winter, when she found a sickly, cold squirrel. Without realizing it was a talent, she warmed the creature back up, and only found out when she came home to tell her parents. (It was one of the first things to cheer Twilight up after what happened with Halley.)

-Around the age of 11, Pluto was gifted a dragon egg by Twilight. The girl had been fretting about her talent of temperature manipulation (and how far it possibly could go), so Twilight gave her a frost dragon that she wouldn’t have to worry about harming. Their name is Kerby, and Pluto absolutely adores them.

- Now that she’s a little older, she’s studying with her mother in the ways of magic, just on a far lesser scale. She hopes her family can return back to normal some day, but for now, she will enjoy what they have.

-Pluto is a timid girl, but not a cruel one. She’ll barely speak when she first meets someone, but over time she warms up and talks more. She’s caring and intelligent, and puts a lot of thought into every single little thing. She grew up with secrecy however, so if she doesn’t want to share something, she won’t. Has a lot of walls put up, but that’s from her past and lack of outside contact. The girl frets that her power could be used for bad, and is always trying to subdue it if anyone feels the slightest bit chilly.

Relationships:
- Twilight Sparkle: She’s very close with her mother, but she wishes they could be closer. Ever since Halley left the family, Twilight grew reserved and fearful of what would happen next. Pluto tries her best to cheer her mother up, and it works sometimes, but deep down she wishes things could go back to the way they were.
- Tirek: Pluto is absolutely her father’s girl. She tells everything to him, and expresses her worries and struggles freely with the centaur. The situation didn’t hit him as hard as it did Twilight, so Pluto feels like she can tell him more things without hurting his feelings. He’s also the reason she can control her magic with some ease; though the first time Pluto froze his fingers, she nearly cried for three days.
- Halley: She’s never really spent time with Halley. He was living with his father around the time she started to remember things, and then everything he did happened before she ever even got to talk to him. She doesn’t know how she feels; doesn’t hate him, but doesn’t really like him either. The only thing she enjoys of his is his old physics and math books.
- Kerby: The frost dragon she has hatched and helped raise in recent years. Kerby is still very young, only now learning to speak, but Pluto has the biggest heart for the little thing. She hopes they will become her assistant in the future.
- Spike: He is a big uncle to Pluto and the only one she’ll do any jokes or shenanigans with. (Mostly because he tries to get her out of her shell and away from the stress of royalty politics.)
- Seraphim: Sera, who is rather obsessed with the situation with Halley, is also obsessed with getting close with Pluto. Being a young incarnate of chaos, the gremlin will pop up at the worst of times to mess with Pluto. Pluto doesn’t mind it, and almost considers the princess a friend at this rate.

Trivia:
Gets warm really easily and hates the summer months. Spends a lot of time swimming though; the water helps cool her down.
- Has a knack for magic, in particular conjuration. She can summon things really easily, she just doesn’t hone that magic enough to do much with it.
