It isn't suprising to me that DA has started to resemble something off of Jerry Springer. The admins and those responsible for the sites operation need to withdraw from this completely, with the exception of enforcing their existing policies on related posts. There is absolutely no reason to come into a forum to try and validate their actions, and only adds credance to those who are here to cause conflict. This whole episode wouldn't be nearly as interesting if it didn't appear to be personal to both sides. That said, I understand that emotions are at play and everyone is human. your image choice is perfect. your edgework is really well done. the overall tonality and color scheme of this works really well to push the mood. i feel the vignetting is a perfect element to bring our focus on the character, and keep our eye on his sentiment.

Personally, I'm not too fond of all this bickoring. I'm against censorship (although I'm *still* not convinced anyone here is being censored)... and besides, let the administrators run the damn site however they want. You don't like it...just boycott it. No ofense to anyone who's posted here, but to me it seems like an awful great thing to get FREE storage AND exposure for as much artwork as you want, so I feel I have to either abide by the rules for this FREE service....or leave.

The retarded thing is that there really isn't any "revolution", or shouldn't be at least. If you don't like DeviantArt then don't submit your work here. You don't join something because you want to change it... you join it because you believe in what they are doing. DA is a place for us to share with each other... there are reasonable rules put in places to protect both the artists and the administration. People that don't abide by them get the big boot. It's that simple.
If you don't like it FUCK OFF! Make your own community. I would hate to see this one completely ruined.

I don't care for this artisticly, but it has someone's expression in it, even if it didn't take 4000 Photoshop layers and a billion hours to render in 3DS Max... But it's what someone believes/expresses in a medium that can be uploaded here... So for that, it belongs here. The bickering in the community is getting worse.
