One of the sea turtles I swam with for a while. He was using his fins to glide on the underwater currents. It was cool.Photo taken at Kahe Point, Oahu.

How's the camera take pic above water? I'm looking for a point and shoot camera that I can take anywhere and not worry about rain and stuff too.

Well, this one had an underwater case. But it shot very well both above and below the water. Problem is that it's been decommissioned by Canon to make the value go up. I only realized this once it was broken and the company lost it in the mail when they sent it to Irvine to have it repaired.

Wonderful photo! I swam with them once in '06 and still think about it all the time. I can't wait to get back to Hawaii some day soon.

They are pretty memorable. I can't believe swimming with these guys has become such a casual (though very much loved) passtime for me since I moved here.

I moved there for college last August from LA. I'm visiting LA for the summer right now, but I'm already homesick. Oahu beats LA any day of the week.
