Strengths: He's really good at alchemy and combining things together. Seem to have boundless stamina.

Weakness: He actually has a soft heart. He also hates water (oh but don't worry he still bathes, uhhh maybe once every two days- )

Just think of him as a cranky whiny old man

Leif is easily irritated, hence people tend to avoid him or try to annoy him even more. Hence he is viewed as an unsociable and cold person who is hard to approach. He is also usually in a cranky mood, and does not like to go prodding into others' affairs. Thus, he often wanders from place to place where people usually do not go, so as to avoid social interaction (although he likes to linger around the Lotus Forest.) . However, sometimes, if you do meet him (and if he cares about you enough), he'll give good advice, and offers help (even if he seems like he doesn't want to) to you. Despite disliking whiny people, he can get pretty whiny at times himself. And since he is not as young as he actually looks, he looks down on kids at times. like most elderly hohohoh -

Unknown to many, Leif actually really has a soft heart, and cannot bear to watch people in trouble. Once he actually starts caring about someone, he will care for that person excessively, which could be one reason why he does not like to get too close to anyone. He is also relatively shy with people.

Basically, he is quite a stuck-up douchebag

History:

His father was an alchemist, and his mother was a herb mixer. He was a relatively quiet and studious child who takes after his father (appearance and skills wise), so he actually aimed to be an alchemist who serve the king like his father when he grows up.

However, when he was trying out some chemical combination one day in secret, he accidentally created a potion which seemed really ordinary, but actually causes one to stop aging. It was not obvious until a few years later, when everyone realised his stunted growth. He still kept the potion in secret since that day, for he felt that it was his first successful concoction (that is, it didn't blew up ). That was when he started to suspect something was wrong with it. Gingerly, he handed it over to his father, who identified the potion as something powerful that could result in a person to stop aging. While everyone called him a prodigy, his parents blew up at him (obviously). Leif did not know how serious the matter was until he grew up (in terms of mentality) -- he realised that the people around him will soon age and die, while he'll continue to stay around.

Of course, around this time, people from all around the kingdom and outside started flocking to him, begging for the potion ( those who seek eternal life ) in which he told them all that he had dumped it, and also forgot how he did it. (Of course it's not true.)

He watch his parents pass away, his close friends, his relatives everyone he knew and love leave one by one. He started getting depressed and cranky. He ever thought of suicide but was never brave enough. That was when he decided to not care too much about people around him anymore, because, hey, they're all gonna leave anyway.

So now he lurks around the Lotus Forest or basically wherever he wants to go. He did not want a place to feel attached to or call home, but he does have a small shed where he keeps his stash and stuff, and occasionally sleep in.

Being in the Crimson Hearts faction, he does not actually bear any hate or dislike towards Alice. he just felt like people will bother him less if he were to seem 'unworthy' of their attention.

Relationship : He hates everyone - lol jk .
