Description
This painting presented some challenges because I really liked the original design, but that was done in a pseudo-pointillism style that quite frankly I cannot recreate digitally. So I went for a mosaic pattern to the texture. As for the color choice, I referred to the 1979 version, with its sickly skin that still retained some color and life in patches. The work by had an oval frame so I applied a subtle effect on the painting to reflect that, over all had a lot of fun working on it.
