I spend hours looking around 6 different islands looking for wolves, no luck. I head back home to build a area for my current two wolves when what do I see in the forest...a wolf.Then 2 more appeared. Then about 5 appeared by my sheep but I could only get 3. And so on and so forth.
Apparently they are supposed to be rare...

I found a few on peaceful while I was building and others on normal. It shouldn't really matter what difficulty you are on.

They can't be that Rare, My home is in a forest and I get packs of them Spawning near by XD

They were supposed to be quite rare but aren't really. My homes near a forest too so that's why I have so many. I ran out of bones at one point D:

I found two wolves but eh minecraft bugged out and they died. Minecraft didn't crash it just had a spaz attack i wish it crashed because it would give me three more wolves.
