This round we get to draw quillblade01's charactor Armi Kerane. He is a 'dumbat', believe it or not (yes that is a real kind of critter...
)I sat and stared at his description for a long while without comming up with a scene for him..... so, in the end, I had him save a kitty...
Do not ask me why, I just felt like drawing something cute... I hope everyone likes it!I have been doing a lot of mixed media pieces lately but you do not get any more mixed media than this... Mechanical pencil, Prisma markers, Millenium markers, prisma pencils, gel pens and water colors...

I love that dumbat's expression... he looks so surprised to have a cat in his hand! Makes me think he was trying to catch a fish and came up with something a little different...

What I pictured was he saw something odd floating by, grabbed it, and it turned out to be a cat...

dat kitty looks soooo unhappy. Course, I would be too. At least he's got someone t' saaaave hiiim!...or her...not sure...can't read descriptions, like I mentioned. ^_^; I like the streaks of water rolling off him and the pricked-forward ears of the guy holding him. But it's the cat's expression that kills me.
