looking around I see that I dont see any birds anymore at the feeder or birdbath , no butterflies ....where do they all go all of a sudden

Here is bird migration process already begun. Native birds are on the fields and in vineyards now. We still have high temperatures during the day, so the butterflies are still active.

what an idiot......they are going to warmer weather......I dont feel the change in temps so much but Im sure they do......im not out at night when the temps drop like the animals are

You know better than I which one of Β birds in your area are migrants and which one stay through the winter.

I am so envious of this green! Haven't had fields this color since last April and it will be few more months until (hopefully!!) the rain comes and we get green again...love your composition and the bokeh

Ty, I know what you mean. I guess that a lot of rain in the winter and spring helped the grass to stay so green, no matter that the summer was very hot. Β I am waiting for autumn signs now. Β
