Description
To be honest, I am actually okay with Te Fiti, Namaari, and Alma Madrigal as they have redeeming qualities. Prince Hans, Yōkai, and Dawn Bellwether on the other hand are weak villains who somehow try too hard to appear and sound sympathetic, despite the Moral Event Horizon crossings:
* Prince Hans nearly left Anna to die from hypothermia only to be saved thanks to her own self-sacrifice as the ultimate act of true love.
* Yōkai murdered Tadashi without any reason but to get what he wants from the Hamada Brothers' work, which is theft.
* Dawn Bellwether used the weapon of fear via the nighthowlers to make the predators pay for their prejucices of their past, as revenge for her treatment.
However, the later three villains aforementioned had redeeming qualities:
* Te Fiti (as Te Ka) wanted to teach Maui a lesson, but isn't really evil to begin with and only turns evil because her heart is literally stolen due to orders from Tamatoa.
* Namaari was obsessed with the Dragon Gem and still had genuine, sisterly love for Raya and then Sisu.
* Alma Madrigal tried her very best to keep the household traditions, only to be too hard on it causing herself to likewise express her remorse for her own family's sake.
