✦ Trait Development:
○ Kind | Compassionate: Scott has always been a sympathetic and kind wyngro, and that kindness pretty much spread to anything, even something as little as a bug! He goes out of his way to make sure someone is doing okay, and tries to cheer them up. He's not always good at it, but he'd always rather make an attempt than risk that person staying sad.
○ Nonconfrontational | Timid: One to recognize injustice but unable to act on it himself, Scott would rather choke than confront someone on their behavior, defaulting to asking someone else to take charge with rare cases where he takes it upon himself. It can be inferred this is a self-defined sense of inadequacy that makes Scott feel unfit to take charge of such situations, especially with other adults, but it also has to do with his timid nature. He's not one to speak up, would rather bring the matter to light quiety to avoid attention being placed on himself.
○ Gentle | Natural caregiver: Scott's always had a knack for handling things with care, from bows to bugs to children. He's just gentle-hearted in his core, and loves to take care of things and make them feel loved. Being especially fond of children, all Scott wants is to bring up a child with love and care, and make sure they have the best life they could live. It's one of the reasons he worked at the Nook- to give love to children as the father they should have had.
○ Supersitious | meticulous: From believing in Buttwings to "being afraid of his own shadow," Scott has full faith in the existence of things that go bump in the night. The existence of spites alone is enough proof in his mind of other-worldly beings, myths, and lore. He's very precise in his manners because of this, and while he can be considered care-free at times, his record-keeping skills and papers are "unmatched" to any other wyngro he knows. This meticulous nature of his can be considered a minor coping mechanism to his general anxiety, as he keeps track of what he has and what he needs, and though it can be considered more over-the-top than your average gro, Scott's hobby is far from obsessive and doesn't control his everyday life.
○ Naive | Optimistic: Despite his belief in the supernatural, Scott himself can only see the good in people at first, and he has a hard time thinking someone would actively want to cause another gro harm. He believes anyone can be redeemed and that no one is truly malicious. This is a dangerous combination that puts him at risk of being hurt or taken advantage of, but Scott can't bring himself to be too worried about it; nothing has happened thus far!
○ Indecisive | People pleaser: Although Scott is able and capable of making his own decisions, he would rather not have the stress of making them in the first place. Part of this is due to the fact that Scott wants to be liked by everyone and is a little (a lot) scared that if he makes a decision or suggestion that it could offend the gro he's talking to. Very rarely is he comfortable enough with someone to be free with his opinions and desires.
○ Devoted | Responsive: When Scott sets his mind on something, he is 100 percent taken to the cause and is known to throw his whole weight behind it. He cares about how good of a job he does and how much it effects his surroundings, and he's known for his quick thinking and problem-solving, but it seems like that skill is exclusive to caregiving and parenting alone, not extending to his daily life. His behavior, at times, can and should be labeled as "doting."
