Okay so Jasper was with his sister and mother when they were attacking the salmonids. However, during one of their breaks, jasper had wonder off and found where the salmon had got in, they had clogged up one of the pipes that led into the river, that pipe is how they get their clean water, so using his fire powers, he inadvertently caused massive flooding in the river that spewed out every single salmon, and that includes the bosses and kings that were in there and calls all of the water that was in there to be rushed out, and so he killed over 25 billion salmonid in the process. There were billions of golden eggs everywhere.
