So on the previous picture I made, one nice fellow mentioned wishing to see the War Breeds without armor on and I said yeah, I can do that...
Then I started to think.
What if I make a whole thing out of this and take the opportunity to cram some more lore into the World of Bane and possibly get more inspiration to add to my world anvil page?
And I went HECK YEAH!!!
So here's a tiny picture plus story thing I will do now and then for the different elven races where we get to be the exchange student.
Kinda my attempt to do what Shabazik does with his art (p.s. look him up he's an art machine.

The scarred woman turned from the massive equine. Having just feed it a large chunk of meat and the wooden prosthetic she had held it with.
She looks upon the gathered youths with a smile. she does notice that not all are Dragon Elves and remembers that her Trueblood commander had told her about some foreign students arriving to learn more about the Dragon Elf culture.

"Hiya kids, we have some introductions in order. I'm your teacher, Sevventi, formerly Ane 70."
"Now before we begin, I just wish to make it clear that yes. Most outsiders get their very own name at birth. So you won't find many Wo 31's or Hun'dur 12's among the outsiders."
"Speaking of names I heard that your sister, Fowti 12 was named Telve this week. Do remember to congratulate her from me Fowti 26." Sevventi said looking at one of the girls in the crowd.

"Now let's stop with the small talk before the mares get hungry again."
"What we have here are War Breeds."
"Say hi girls." The teacher said looking at the two massive War Breeds.
The closest one snorted in response whilst the other one yawned showing of it's sharp teeth.

"No need to looks so frightened outsider, these old mares wouldn't eat more than a leg or two. I made sure to feed them properly before this lesson." Sevventi said as she turned to the War Breed closest to her and began patting it.

"These two beauties' are about as tame as they'll come. Now let's go over their behavior."
"War Breeds are very friendly creatures, they are affectionate and pretty smart."
"As you can see by the bite scars on their legs and bellies, these two are proud moms."
"Nibbling is how they show affection so if they try to chow down on one of your limbs it's cause they want to cuddle and not to eat you." Swiftly moving her hand out of reach as the War Breeds jaws loudly closed down where her hand had been a moment ago.

Turning back to the students.
"Now they are rough lovers so you'll likely lose a finger or an arm if one of these gals nibbles on yah, if that happens shove your fist up it's nostril and it'll sneeze your limb back out."
"Don't be too rough though since you might hurt them and then they get cranky."
Her expression changing to a serious one.
"And when these girls get cranky, people get trampled!"
Her face returning to her usual smile.

"If you wanna get them all friendly, just give 'em a good ol' pat and some scratches and they will be trying to nibble on ya like there's no tomorrow." She says laughing.
"Now let's see if you've got some good peepers in your noggin, can anyone guess how tall these ladies are?"
Sevventi says excitedly her one hand pointing expectantly at different students.

"8 feet? Nope!"
"6 feet? That's me not the Mares, good eyes though. Keep 'em on the ladies that will eat ya if you want to live long enough to get named!"
"10 feet? That's close but that's a Hybrid not a War Breed."
"Anyone? did I hear 12? Who said 12? Oun 42? Good guess Oun 42. Close enough."
"These ladies stand at about 12.5 feet tall. Now I won't ask ya to guess how much they weigh, might offend 'em. But they usually weigh about 2600 to 3000 pounds."
"Now don't ya go and try guessing my weight, cause like these ladies it's all muscles here, anyone who says otherwise will have to clean out the stables!"
She said waving her finger.

"Now let's talk about raising one of these."
"War Breeds are one of the easiest beasties you can take care of."
"You need to start early though, so you can establish the bond of trust and affection. It also helps teach 'em how hard they can bite you"
"Besides that, all you need is affection, patience and a quick reflexes"
"If you got all of that then you'll keep most of your limbs!"
Sevventi said as she danced out of the way of the War Breeds jaws.

"Now let's talk feeding this beauties."
"An adult War Breed needs to be feed properly or else it'll get cranky."
"Usually we feed 'em leftovers from the Hybrids dinner, other than that, Strangler meat is good for 'em. If you get lucky you might run into the leftovers from a Devil Jaw."
"That stuff's premium meat. Devil Jaw mating season is a fantastic time to get rare meat since they tend to rip the tail off of each others and they tend to not eat those so there's a few tons of meat there".
"Now if you want your Foal to grow up to become the mount of a Trueblood Cataphract, you'll need the good stuff."
"I'm talking Ogredog meat. If you mix some mince tongue barbs with some grinded Sand Devil horns and sprinkle that stuff over some Devil Jaw tail, you'll have yourself a true monster!"
Sevventi said almost drooling.

Snapping out of it, Sevventi refocused on her students
"Now does anyone want to try to pet these ladies?"
"Anyone? How 'bout you Outsider? You wanna pet the War Breeds? No? Now that's paying attention to the lesson."
"If y'all keep up this up when we visit the Hybrid caverns next week we might just make it out with more than half of the class still alive!"
"Who knows maybe some of you will live long enough to earn a name from the Dragons!"
The Scarred teacher said beaming at her students.

"You outsiders are going to love it"
"What do you mean you can't make it next week?"
She said looking somewhat disappointed
