Now this one was interesting to draw. I’ve still been experimenting with blue and red lead a bit, and I penned in the details on the characters. What was interesting about this one was drawing the reaction of fire hitting water. Thank ya! I gotta admit, I had a harder time drawing the pose for the Soldier (I drew a lot of mini sketches trying to come up with a good pose). But it was a fun experience nonetheless.

That's how I usually draw when I try to figure out poses for characters. Drawing a lot of quick poses before the main final drawing. :]

Now I remember, I tried drawing this reaction based on something I did. I tried cooling a hot pot with cold water, and the moment the water hit the pot it evaporated into steam, boiled, and splashed everywhere. <.<
