This pic is for an contest over on Gaia that I got invited to because of some earlier pictures I did for ANOTHER contest. ^_^ I'm hoping I stand a chanse of winning somthing, if just to say I made a place in a contest.

This is an awesome picture. I love how, even though the crouched one is so obviously bad, you get a feeling of greater evil from the standing one. Albeit a more... sophisticated evil. And the folds in the clothes are simply incredible.

*grins* Thanks! I was rather proud of this, although I wish I'd had somthing other than marker to do the black with. c_C Man I hope I win something. Every time I enter an art contest someone gives the prizes to their buddies and I end up with an honorable mention or somthing crappy.

I must say, I love your art. It looks like you used a sharpy for the darks. It might have been better to use ink and brush, but still it looks very good! Nice work!

I bet it would have been but I didn't have any such thing, and I didn't want to try and pencil it all in because then I would have smeared the graphite unbeleivably....so I went the Sharpie route. damn sharpies.

Yes, I know both these characters very well myself.
I quit entering art contests on gaia... I never win anything at all, lol.
But this piece is still amazing! I can never seem to get clothing folds right!
And beautiful pencil work, as always.

^_^ well this is only really the second time Ive tried a contest on Gaia, but this time I was invited so i think there's hope. The other one has seventy something submissions, most in color, so I think all hope is lost.

Okay, you better win because this rocks. The layout is f**king fantastic. Both the guys look cool as hell, but the one crouching just looks like a damned bad ass.
And the folds in the clothing are dead on perfect. (gah, I wish I could do that!) And you got SO much depth with just a B&W piece...it's f**king insane! You rock!

Oh, this is so cool. I love those kind of clothes, the guys look great, and your pencil work is (of course) terrific. Are the demons part of them, or coming after them?

The Demons are part of them, which is part of some really incredible story development on the part of their players. ^_^ One of them has effectively merged with his demon half, which seems to work out for both parties, and the other is fighting a loosing battle, waking up places he doesn't remember going, and doesn't know what he did.
