There was a tiny glint of light deep inside the cave, but he wasn't sure of the source, and if Kosheck had any idea, the Skitty was not being forthcoming. Granted it didn't help that the catlike Pokemon had neither appreciated the waterfall, or Athena shaking herself off as she came inside, so the Pokemon's reluctance to assist any more than he had to was not entirely surprising. Still...

"Keep your guard up." Ikram warned, repressing a shudder that had nothing to do with the chilly wet, and everything to do with the depths of the cave. He kept seeing the Blue Moon caverns instead of this place, and the bright, vivid red of Rev's blood on his hands. Never mind that Rev was alright, that he knew he was alright, it had been so so close to everything not being alright. "...Be prepared to book it if we have to." he decided, coldly a moment later.

Scientists who may, or may not have lost their mind weren't his problem, unless they made themselves a problem, but if they weren't unhinged, or under the influence of something outside themselves... well. He'd like to know more about what they were dealing with.
