Description

Spectre is a strange pony

they were among one of the groups of Refugees that arrived in the Tales of Equestria setting, and like many, lost their original home and possibly more to bursts of dangerous wild magic.

They're quiet, almost eerily so, especially with their apparently white eyes.

They keep to themselves, and have taken it on themselves to be a sort of grave-keeper for ponies who may not be able to be identified after a wild magic surge. They try and make sure any belongings they can identify get to a loved one, but if they can't, they keep them safe in case someday someone does know them.

No one is even entirely clear if their original name was, in fact, Spectere, or if it's simply what everyone calls them. They aren't correcting it anyway.
