you figure out the title's meaningtook on a short trip somewhere around 60 km far from my home .. had nothing to do, just wanted to spare some time of this cloudy sunday

Have you noticed how before storms sometimes, how there will be almost a sort of hyperrealism to the lighting almost in a way. Like I suppose the digital equivalent would be if the res. got moved up a few times ... 
Kind of ridiculous sounding but one day I'd like to get the timing on something like that.

I like that we can see all the cracks in the road. Gives the picture an aged look. The tree is too centered for my taste though. I wonder what it would look like with a little less sky and with the tree a little to the right. Of course then it might not have the same meaning that you were looking for.

Actually, on second thought, I think that just having less sky would compensate for this over centered feeling I get. I think that I would only have the tree to the right if it was in landscape layout instead of portrait.
